Chosen Solution My iPod shuffle 1st generation 1GB capacity is not starting, just showing starting on the screen and do not process onward. What light pattern does the iPod show ? since resetting isn’t more than switching the shuffle off and after 5 seconds on - i won’t get deeper into that point. maybe you should restore it with itunes. it’s always problematic to tell something on a device that isn’t capable of showing anything more than a light pattern....

Chosen Solution I push the power button and it just flashs 5 times then stops the laptop dosnt boot the screen dosnt even turn on an also the light bolb icon at the bottom flashs too. jack, since the blue lights blinks 5 times then stops after the power button is pressed, it is an indication that the battery has drained out and unable to receive power from AC adapter, you may check by pluging the AC adapter to another working wall outlet....

Chosen Solution My power port has bent prongs. Is this fixable? Do I need to solder on a new port if I can find a replacement part? Or do I need to replace the whole motherboard? hi melissa, id definitely say its fixable as most things on consoles are it will require soldering a new port to the board but if your confident it is fixable!

Chosen Solution I recently bought a used A1342 as a replacement for my old reliable A1181. Every once and awhile, and without warning (is there any other way?), the screen will go blank (colored blue), and my external monitor will go to a nice purple color, also blank. It’s happened probably a dozen times. It happened once as I pressed play on iTunes, and didn’t appear to have any effect on playing music....

Chosen Solution tv will not turn on. Red off indicator light on the front of the tv is lit, however will not turn on by covering the red light, (normally would turn blue when on). Also will not turn on with remote. is there a reset button somewhere on the tv unplug power supply and wait thirty seconds and then plug it back in again. Came right on.

Chosen Solution So, I noticed this problem a couple of days ago when I was on facebook with my mac. I was pressing the home icon on facebook but the mac did not respond. I then pressed really hard (mechanical click) and it worked.. this keeps happening all the time. The “touch” click works perfectly but the mechanical click is almost non-responsive. It really annoys me because I like using photoshop with the trackpad but because of this problem, click and drag etc, is more or less impossible....

Chosen Solution Ive got a NES with a black screen when using either rf or rca outputs. I have confirmed the game is working my cables are good and the power/rf module is working by swapping it with one from a working NES although the vout is only 7.3v it was 8.7 in the other console. Something on the motherboard must be pulling the voltage down but i have seen other consoles work with 7....

Chosen Solution I changed the battery last night. everything went ok except had trouble getting the adhesive strips to stick to the battery. they came loose before inserting into the phone and got a little balled up. I straightened as best as I could but they still had a “wad” in the middle but, not having any more strips, I installed anyway. what problems might this cause down the road?...

Chosen Solution My 3GS was shutting off whenever it dropped to 60-70% battery life for a few months. I’d have to plug it in to reboot and then after a few minutes it would tell me I had < 5% charge or whatnot. It got worse and would die constantly in the 95% range, but would still reboot sometimes with some battery left, but usually only successfully if I was plugged in....

Chosen Solution I replaced the battery connector and its now turning on with the battery, but when i plug it in to charge the battery which is at 12% the plug logo comes up on the battery symbol but it doesnt charge its staying at 12%? nvm bad battery i guess swapped it out and now its charging fine

Chosen Solution Okay so I have a super slim 4001b model. It was dropped recently with in a bag which gave it some cushion, but unfortunately has lead to a problem. I’m curious to what had broke so I can replace, if possible. My guess is that I need a new disk reader but would rather get a better hypothesis or answer before I go out and waste money. Hi, Your speaker has nothing to do with how people hear you, it is your microphone, and specifically the microphone at the bottom of your phone near your headphone port, because when you put your phone in loudspeaker mode, it uses the microphone by your front camera....
