Chosen Solution Remove the shield bracket and make sure the connector is seated properly. If you have a multimeter check the pin in red it should be 0.53 with red probe on ground, also check the corresponding pin on the flex cable, it should go to ground when the power button is pressed. If you haven’t got a multimeter and the connectors look fine I would replace the power button flex assembly....

But my eject button isn’t working, everything was put back on the optical drive the way it’s supposed to. Its a long time I’m seeing “Service Battery“ message but never cared that because it has only 350 cycles. now the battery is drained and can’t run MBP. Chosen Solution I am using a Cooler master 500 Watt Power supply for my Dell Dimension 5150. It appears that it doesn’t have any bleeding capacitors yet it still can’t distribute power. I am getting a Blinking Amber power LED. What issue could this power supply be having? Have you checked that all the cables to the motherboard and drives are properly connected, by disconnecting and reconnecting them? A blinking amber power switch LED means the computer is receiving electrical power, but an internal power problem might exist....
Chosen Solution It’s because the original home button is linked to the board. The home button from the old screen needs to be taken off and put on the new one. The new home button will work however there will be no touchID / fingerprint scan function (unless the old home button is used) which is what the reachability function uses.
Chosen Solution The screen on my TI-83 keeps becoming dim when I rapidly type numbers, or go into certain things like the finance app. I think it’s because there are too many pixels that are black that it seems to refuse to show up. Help The battery gets older - with or without usage (sometimes is not using worse than using it) follow this guide and disassemble it, look out for possible fluid damage signs (white/greenish stuff on the components), if there are any signs of a fluid damage - clean the logic board with isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a soft paintbrush - if there aren’t any signs of fluids inside the shuffle - take a multimeter (maybe borrow one) and measure the battery - if it’s lower than ~ 3....

If it remains dark, unplug it and push the power button for about one minute, then plug it back in. See if that resets your TV. If it remains dark, use a flashlight and angle it against the screen with the TV at a station where you can hear the sound See if you can make out shadows or shapes....
