I have a 1997 gmc sunurban 1500 the only brake light that works is the third light on the top the turn signals don’t work and the turn sighal switch is bad is it possible to bypass the turn signal switch to get brake lights on the corners

Right, a new turn signal / hazard switch is over $500 and a junk yard won’t sell just the switch they want you to buy the whole steering column. What a joke.
