Is there a way I can determine if it is the battery and if a battery replacement would be the answer. Or if there is some other problem, like with the power switch. Since is a 8GB phone, will the 16GB battery work in it?
The simultaneous power + home button seems to have resolved it. But it took several chats and blog reading for me to figure that out. I guess that is something I should have known but did not. Thanks. I may still have a dying battery problem. It seems to not hold a charge for very long. Since it is an older and smaller device I am probably at the point of having to go to a new device.
as long as the baterry is for iphone 4s it is all the same for 16gb 32gb or 64gb. now my question is did you try to use other charger? or try to press home button and power button in 15 seconds at the same time.
