You’ll need to take it apart again and re-clean but this time using the proper cleaning process. First we need to clean off the oil you used. If you sprayed the electronics you’ll need to use a cleaning solvent that can remove it and not leave anything behind. Here you’ll need a reagent grade isopropyl alcohol this time as the water within the lower grades will prevent it from wicking out the oil. The best way here is to get a pan and fully dip the logic board and let it soak a bit, then use can’ed air to blow alcohol off of the surfaces. Lastly letting it dry You will likely need to replace the keyboard and track pad if they got wet. The oil most likely has ruined them. Given the work here I would just replace the uppercase assembly Vs trying to replace the keyboard if you can find one as you’ll have 50 odd screws or snap rivets to remove to get the keyboard off and if you break the rivets you’ll then need to replace them with screws. Lastly, the battery will likely need to be replaced if it got wet.
first of all tnx so much about trying to help so professionally… appreciate it!! Dan,i cant sink the board cuz i have a small amount of isoprophyl. about the stuff it self.. there is a pic of the specification:
Wel.. I did the whole process and something went wrong!!! I washed the board with IPA and after it dried,it started to corosse in some places://// How can it be?! There is a pic of the board and the IPA specificetions:
Oh and i dont know if it’s matter but when i “drowned” the board I didn’t cleaned the thermal paste.. I cleaned it after pulling it out the IPA!!! Tnx
