I recently got my screen replaced after it cracked, after checking is everything is properly working, I stumbled upon the camera, to find my frontal camera turns black, I checked if it worked on other apps and they didn’t even have the option to switch cameras anymore. The person that repaired the screen even changed the camera itself and it still didn’t work. What Could’ve Possibly Gone Wrong????
Assuming the tech tried a known-good replacement camera, I would suspect a logic board issue. It could be a damaged connector or a blown component in the FCAM circuit. You’ll probably need to have your device looked at by a micro-solderer.
