My hardrive is clickin on my pc makes my games not load correctly and really slow would plugging in another hardrive stop it from clicking or do i need to replace it
@tommygofficial … heya, so clicking, grinding, slow performance and corrupt files are all signs of hdd malfunction. i would not continue to use this drive if you are gonna want to salvage any data off of it. that being said, i would go ahead and look into gathering your data, most important first, on another storage device in case it fails while doing so. to be sure it is a failing disk with minimal stress as possible, you could do a smart disk check in your recovery menu by pressing f8 while booting up windows. here is a guide that may help: Hard Drive Troubleshooting
The clicking is the search head going back and forth, This is indicative of a failing/failed hard drive. Plug in an external drive and see if you can recover any of your data.
