Yes after replacing a crack screen & battery on my IPhone 5c . My home button does not work any more . The battery came out pretty easy with no damaged done to phone. I also checked the gold connections on the phone and they were not damaged. The only thing I can think of it is not making a good connection with the lcd screen, Has anyone else had this issue. I changed my Iphone 5 lcd screen and had no issues like this.

Test gold points by using tweezers to touch the two, as this shorts the points and it should work, if it does, then it’s the home button flex that needs replacing. If not, you may have damaged it and the charging port will need replacing. If that doesn’t work, you may have damaged the logic board, possibly when prying battery out if you pried on logic board side.

I would check the the home button contacts to make sure the flex they are connected to are not torn. If it is torn you may need to order a new one!
