When I plug my iPhone 4 into my iHome iP1, my phone charges, but no music plays. I know the speaker system is on because my phone is charging, but I am confused as to why my music won’t play.
Check to make sure the audio file is playing on your device first. Then, check the volume settings on both your device and the iHome system. It is possible that the volume is simply too low. If the audio file is playing and the volume is turned up, then the problem may be with your iPhone. Test your iPhone with another set of headphones or speakers.
