My ipad syncs with itunes and itunes starts to restore it’s software as it’s should.But itunes gets almost to the end and stops. Can anyone help. thanks, chiob12002@yahoo.com
Are you trying to restore an older firmware? Such as 4.2? You need to restore the current firmware on the iPad (And other 3rd Generation+) devices, (Apple’s way of preventing downgrading) You can download it here and install it by shift-clicking “restore” in iTunes, and selecting the file. Also, if the file you downloaded has a “.zip” extension, do not extract it. Change it to “.ipsw” and iTunes will reconize it.
