I replaced the battery and the dock connector but my iphone still won’t charge when power on or connected to a computer. It DOES: Charge when powered offConnect to ihome speakers to play music It WON’T: Charge when powered onSync or connect to a computer I REPLACED: batterydock connector If you have any suggestions please let me know!
You can try looking for any problems with the chips, especially around the U5, Q4 and Q3 chips. These are the chips that regulate the power of the iPhone.
Seen this before a few times on iPhones never heard of anyone fixing the issue but it’s definitely a board problem
