Hello :), I have a iPhone 6 that is under a year old and I also had this problem with my previous iPhone 6 but I need my current one to turn on as I feel uncomfortable being out on my own without a phone… So, the problem with my phone is that around three weeks ago my iPhone charger for some reason would not go all the way in so I tried others just in case it was a faulty cable, which it was not. Then after ages of trying to charge it, it started to charge but when I moved it, it then went off charge and would only charge in a certain position with a certain cable (even didn’t charge with an official Apple charger, only a Pound Shop One). So, I ignored it and thought I could cope with it but a few days ago my iPhone died and has not charged up for four days even though I left it on charge for four days. All my other Apple devices have charged with this cable and still will, I even tried cleaning out the charger port, much to my avail it did not work. Any help would be great, thank you! :)
It sounds like there is something physically obstructing your charging (Lightning) cables from properly inserting. If you can’t see what it is or cleaning hasn’t helped, then you should consider getting a replacement dock and installing it. Follow the guide carefully and always disconnect the battery before anything else.
