Phone was having problem with speaker, so tried to change the amp ic. still having same problem. then i tried to reflow the audio ic. but phone is dead after this. current not exceeding from 100mamp. and showing short on pp_soc, pp_gpu but it is not full short. i measured the resistance on both sides which above 20 ohm and 45 ohm. please give your valuable suggestions and guide me to resolve this problem.
The readings you have for PP_GPU and PP_SOC seem normal to me; those are low resistance lines. I do not encourage people to reflow IC’s on an iPhone logic board. The component density is very high, the pcb is very thin and multi-layered and the components are very tiny. Applying heat without having a lot of experience is a recipe for disaster. You could easily blow SMD passives off the board and/or cause solder ball explosions or shorts on the underfill-secured IC’s or damage to surrounding IC’s. Do a thorough inspection of the area around the Audio IC and also on the opposite side of the board. You may also have caused bridges between components and this could potentially cause shorts.
