im charging my iphone 7 plus in my car while watching youtube and it went blank i left it for about 15 mins hoping to restart then it goes black and wont turn on anymore i replaced it with a new battery it gets warm but no display
The fact you’re saying it’s getting warm might indicate that there is a short somewhere in the phone. Since you already replaced the battery (presuming it was a working battery) we could rule that out as the issue. Before we continue I would recommend you having a look at the phone and all the flex cables, check if they are still properly plugged in and the cables themselves are not damaged. If you can’t see any obvious fault, and want to have the phone fixed again I would recommend you to swing by a repair shop that also does micro soldering, they should be able to detect the fault and fix it for you. If you don’t need any data from the phone you can also buy a second hand logic board & home button as a set (since they are paired) and replace that part of the phone.
