Hello everyone, My iPhone 8 both camera’s blacked out. I can’t use directly or neither through third party apps. what do you guys think it’s a software problem or a hardware problem. if its hardware, then how come both cameras blacked at once. Any replies, suggestions highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
If both cameras don’t work it’s probably a hardware issue..if the iphone was dropped that would explain it. A DiY approach would suggest replacing front cam first just in case and as it’s cheaper, rear cam afterwords and if that doesn’t change picture hand the phone over to a Pro for a board repair. You can back up your data and try a restore to rule out a software glitch..a bit unlikely but that doesn’t cost a penny, why not try.
