My 3G worked for a couple hours then died. My PC doesn’t recognize it, and it just shows the Apple logo. Should I replace the Battery and lose my warranty? Any chance I can still Retrieve my Photos?

hi, just answered this on your other post. open the phone up using ifixit guide, clean with isopropyl alcohol, allow to dry. check dock connector/cable 4 connection/ if no charge getting to battery and not recognised by itunes this is more than likely the problem. maybe the battery shorted and you don’t have enough power to run the phone. they’re pretty cheap to replace
