my iphone is dead and i want to change its motherboard with an another phone’s motherboard whose activation has been locked, will that motherboard work in my phone if i install new ios firmware in it with my apple ID? please help anyone urgently .
Activation lock a.k.a iCloud lock is done through Apple’s servers and can’t be bypassed without replacing / reprogramming multiple chips on the board. It will still be activation locked when you restore the phone as IMEI and S/N of phone is tied to the activation servers like I said.
