Chosen Solution
I got this problem on my phone where I can only see the signal , time and battery percentage on my screen and the rest of the screen was black but it was still functional I can swipe I can unlock it my passcode. at first I thought that the LCD digitizer was just dislodge from the logic board bec. I dropped it several times so I tried opening and cleaning it. but when I tried to put it back on the screen went completely black but its still working I tried calling it … its still ringing. then I press the home and sleep button thought doing a reset would fix it but nooooo… when I tried powering it back on.. it will display two horizontal lines then it disappear.. aaaannndd now it wont turn on.. can someone tell me did I damage the logic board? what would you suggest to fix it?
Is the screen cracked? Did the phone get into contact with liquid then stopped working? Is the glass of the screen pushing up anywhere on the edges of the screen especially top right or top left? Did this suddenly happen out of nowhere? Anyway it sounds like the screen needs to be replaced as the damage probably accumulated from dropping it multiple times caused it to fail.
