my ipod is cracked from the inside and doesnt let me use touch screen properly once and a while it works but through the pressure from the crack inside it kept moving on its own amd kept putting the wrong password after a while it said ‘ipod is disabled connect to itunes’ ive read most of how to fix it but my home button isnt working so i cant restore it and every time i try backing it up on the computer it says ipod is locked with passcode does any one know how to fix it?

Hi Izzy, First you’ll need to replace the screen using this guide which has all the needed steps as well as links to the needed tools and parts. Once done and you are in control of your iPod, you can proceed to restore it: Install the latest iTunes on your computer. Turn off your iPod, press and hold the Home Button, and while still pressing the Home Button, use a known good lightning cable to connect your iPod to your computer. iTunes will tell you that it has detected an iPod in restore mode. You will be prompted to download a firmware/software and to restore your iPod. Accept and leave it connected until the operation is completed. If your Internet connection is slow (or very very slow), this process can take very long (up to a few hours). If you get disconnected during the process, repeat from the beginning.
