My Ipod Touch (16GB, no camera) wont turn on! It was fully charged, and I just used it and put it on sleep. I tried to turn it back on again but it wasn’t responding. This has happened before, so I tried doing what I did last time, get into into recovery mode by plugging it in and holding down the home button and power button etc etc, But My home button has been jammed for several months. It wont click and its physically broken. I had been using assistive touch. I dont know what I can do? Maybe I could take it to an apple store and they will fix the home button so I can get it into recovery mode or is there another way? Please help.
Leave your device alone uncharged for a day or two and then try the power button, it should show the dead battery icon, if so, charge it and it should go back to normal
The cu-tip and rubbing alcohol method works. I once had a broken home button and tried this method and it worked thankfully. Put rubbing alcohol at the end of a cu-tip and then rub the cu-tip around the home button. This will help get any dirt and dust that might have been clogged. look at the cu-tip after, you will see dirt and dust and its just gross but this works and its easy

You need to use a jailbreak tool to get into DFU mode without working buttons. Instructions can be found here. You do not need to actually jailbreak the device for this to work.
Hold the volume button down and the power button down at the same time it might not work because I don’t know if you have to have a charged or dead ipod
So this used to happen to me when my phone worked all they way. I’d be at a hockey practice, come back to the locker room, and it’d be completely off. Sometimes they do this when they get too hot or cold. Now that my home screen button is broken, it happened again. My friend told me it shouldn’t matter if the button is broken, holding down the power and home buttons should work. And it did. It happened again today and i sat from a good five minutes waiting for the apple logo to appear, but my phone is back on. If the apple logo comes on and back off, put it on the charger. That worked this time.
do you think my ipod will turn back on today it turned off like around 11 in the morning
I have used different Apple products in the past and I’ve always had problems with them, but I have also used Android in the past and present, and I am and have had no problems at all. The Apple workers are not helpful in any way shape or form. So I definitely recommend Android. My favorite Android product is the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, it’s waterproof and amazing. (It’s also big but not too heavy) I have not tried the Galaxy 8 yet though, but from what I hear it is really good.
So do you guys know when you keep pressing your home button it turns your screen a different color? anyway so i accidentally did that because i was trying to get to the home screen on my phone but it wasn’t working, and my phone turned completely off the screen went completely black. But when someone texts me or something my phone vibrates. please help me! I really need some solutions.
