My iPod touch wont turn on at all.I tried connecting to computer and it syncs and it makes that noise when you connect your iPod to computer but the iPod doesnt turn on at all.I thought it wasnt charged but my computer tells me it is fully charged so I dont know why it doesnt turn on. I did connect the iPod touch to a cassete input to hear my music in my big stereo. It played like three songs and then it turned off and from there on it didnt turn on even when i charged it and connected to the computer.What should i do is there a solution?

I had the exact same problems you described: try this it worked for me,,, when connected to itunes, hold down the home and sleep button together for 10 seconds, this should restart the iPod and the apple logo will appear,thanks
Just hold down the sleep button at the top and the home button at the bottom. Wait ten seconds and then it should restart.
(Ipod 5 generation 32gb). My ipod 5 won’t turn on (Black screen) But it keeps making a beep sound like its on but nothing nothings on the screen??? The screen is black but it makes no noise?? Do I take it to a professional to see if it still works???

Everyday I tried to turn it on and I couldn’t get it on I left it on the charger for four days then at my basket ball turnament I told my friend and she said that if I push the home button and the locks teen button that it might work and what do u know it did plz contact me back if it worked for u
my ipod screen jus went blank/black…its did this many times and i just go straight to holding the sleep/wake button and the home button but funny story my home button is broke and i’ve took this thing to a shop to fix the screen but they did a lousy job(rushed) so maybe thats the problem? i can hear the charging sound when i charge it and it has charged overnight so can someone please help me out here i have no other options
