My ipod won’t turn on. I tried the disk mode whatever and the diagnostic mode. It won’t charge. And when i plugged it in the screen just blinks on and off apple logo. It won’t respond to the reset. I tried pushing every button and tried everything but it still won’t open

Connect your device to a computer and open iTunesWhile your device is connected, force it to restartDon’t release the buttons when you see the Apple logoWhen you get the option to restore or update, choose Update Or other method similar to first one but it is easy way If your screen is black or frozen, you might need to force restart your device. A force restart won’t erase the content on your device. You can force restart your device even if the screen is black or the buttons aren’t responding. Follow these steps:Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.On an iPod touch: Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Press the Power button and home button simultaneously, and hold them down. This may take a while but don’t give up really quick. Mine took a while to turn on but it did with this method. Hope this helps, and good luck!

mine is, when my ipod is charging it will open, but if you disconnect the charger it will off automatically

Well if your iPod is charging and it is on but when you disconnect it from the charger and shuts it will usually mean you have one time left it on the charger way to long and it has killed the battery. Or if it is around 50% charged and you plug it in and charge it, it will mess up the battery. What you need to do is just let the battery totally run out and then wait for 10 or 15 minutes to charge it, then your all set.

Yayy it worked for me…thanks Annie Jackson

i have an ipod touch just pops up with the itunes logo and if you update it happens again and if you turn it off and back on it pops back up

I was just wondering if anyone could say why when I bought a brand new iPod 7th generation that when u put it down say overnight sometimes it will be a blank white screen when I try to go to certain areas for instance settings or my email. I push the restart button and then it restarts fine I have to enter my password and then it’s fine. But my question is why is it happening at all this is a brand new iPod!!! This keeps happening! Ty

My iPod is about 3 years old and randomly last night it stopped working. It will not respond to chargers and the buttons don’t respond either, the screens just black. Ive tried just about every type of restart and none of them do anything. My iPod is basically my phone and I need it. What do I do now?
