I’m having some trouble with my iPod video. It refuses to turn on when it is plugged into my computer, however it will turn on and charge when it is plugged into my car. When I plug it into the computer the Apple logo lights up, then there is a clicking sound, the iPod shuts off, and then the cycle is repeated. I thought it was the battery, so I replaced it. That didn’t fix the problem. I’ve also tried different USB ports and cords, as well as plugging it into a different computer and trying firewire. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to correct it? Update This was not helpful. I was not plugging my IPod into a dock. Please re-read what was written.
