- Then unplug it aux cord from both devices
- Let it pair again and there it is. It is now configured into computer and should work or Try this answer: Why does my speaker not emit audio?
My jbl flip 4 suddenly had no sound (no power up sounds either). Charged and paired perfectly but didnt sound. I arrived to this page and tried the different solutions with no luck. Just when I was about to give up I did the following and worked!! 1- Jbl flip turned off. 2- Press power on button but don’t release. Even if light in the button turns on. 3- Keep it pressed til you here the power up sound . 4- Sound is on again!
My JBL Flip 4 was working fine one afternoon..The light which displays the remaining battery stayed on even if the speaker was turned off..later it stopped emitting any sound even though it connected to my phone very easily (via Bluetooth,or even AUX).I tried everything like resetting the speaker by pressing the ‘Volume Up’ and ‘Play’ buttons together. After all the annoying problems I just pressed the power button for around 10-15 seconds while the speaker was on and it turned off. Later I just tried turning the power on and voila! The sound was back!Try it out..
Open up the JBL Flip 4 and press firmly on the square on the PC board (called a dark choke)… if it is loose, make sure it is firmly soldered. Your Flip 4 should then have sound, as this is a common fault throughout the Flip series. So, don’t give up, try it.. you never know. :)
JBL Link 20 tuned off the unit, using the mike button, ( top side) then turn it back on, same button then pressed the middle button (top) hold down and say “pair device” or “pair” go to to your blue tooth settings then, when prompted, and select the JBL speaker
After trying all of the above fixes, I removed the JBL speaker from my computer and made the speaker discoverable again. When it showed up on my computer I selected it and told it to allow the pairing and it immediately played dropping the speaker on the computer so all good. I guess the moral is start all over again if your previous connections isn’t working!
It could be as simple as changing the audio output source in volume tab on windows taskbar
Connect the speaker with an aux cable. confirm the sound output as speaker out. Connect the speaker on bluetooth keeping cable connected. remove the cable. it worked for me.
