Chosen Solution
For hours, I have been charging my tablet ( androind based ) Lenovo A10 ( Touch Screen Type). However, it yet does not get charged. The battery symbol shows empty. Its says zero percent charged. Please someone suggest me a solution.
Let do some simple things first change your charger cord look in the charger port and see if there isn’t any lint in the hole. see if the port wiggles. See if you can wiggle it into moving it into a charge position. Hope this helps
hard one… you can try to messure current going thru the battery but without equipment ….. maybe dodgy USB port? or you could replace the battery (if let’s say your friends has the same device) you can also check the board for damages (dodgy solder joints, blown components, rust (and any other crap) you can also try factory reset but i don’t think it will help …..you need to do Level 2 repair on that one (or level 3 ) i think one of the lines from battery to device is disconnected/broken, if device can’t read baterry’s temperature it won’t charge
