My Intel MacBook Pro A1286 was not plugged in when my very small rabbit wizzed on the left top of my keyboard. What must I do? I am too scared to turn it on now!!
First remove the battery if you haven’t already. Then open it up as much as you can and clean up the mess. You need to remove the urine as that will be very damaging to the electronics. After cleaning and drying prop upside down and let dry for several days before trying to turn it on. If you feel uneasy about any of this take it to Apple now. Good luck and if anyone has other ideas feel free to jump in. Ralph
DO NOT POWER IT ON!!!.. If possible remove the topcase and use q-tips with isopropyl alcohol to rid of excess moisture and store the machine in a bag with rice if possible. You have done right by not powering it on. You can search here under “liquid Spill” or “water damage” for more ideas from other posts. I would not power it on for a few days, even after the clean-up.
