My laptop wont turn on like it goes on for 2 seconds and so does the fan but then it turns off and on again and repeat. The screen stays black all the time
@Super Pjusi Does it keep doing this until you have to stop it or does it stop doing this by itself? Has the laptop been dropped or gotten wet at all? It seems like some sort of power problem on the motherboard. Try removing the ram modules and check if it stops looping but stalls when trying to start. Go to p.35 in the maintenance and service guide to see how to do this. I’m not suggesting that it is a memory problem just trying to work out how far it gets into POST (Power On Self Test) before it turns off and starts again. Ram is checked very early on in the POST sequence. If it stalls and just stays there without looping the problem is a bit further on in POST. If it loops then it is early on and most likely on the motherboard.
