Chosen Solution
My LCD started bleeding purple this morning after a drop, there was already a minor crack in the screen and the purple is now bleeding into black from the initial dropped corner, I can still use the screen and can still see most of it for the time being, minus a huge black spot and two big purple lines going vertically up the screen. I know I will have to get it repaired but I am traveling this evening and need to know roughly how long the phone will last, i.e. will it take a few hours to totally cover the screen or will it take longer? I know it’s hard to say with these things but I’m just looking for other people’s experiences as I will be needing it, don’t have a spare and will not be able to get it fixed until tomorrow at the earliest? Not that I think there will be, but if there is anything I can do to slow the bleeding down that would be helpful too!
Hi @ltro18 , First back up the phone while you can. That way you will avoid all the hassles of data retrieval if the screen fails and if problems occur with the screen replacement.
