My tv just started experiencing noticeable horizontal strips as well as terrible ghosting. It seems like the pixels are not refreshing properly and I get bad image retention most apparent from high-contrast images. It looks like severe burn-in, but only after seconds of an image being displayed. Please see the following pictures.
@Shaun Bedwell this could be a bad main board (less likely) or the T-con board. I would start with that since it is a relatively inexpensive board. Of course continue to check your ribbon cables and double check the connectors on boards and cables. Post some good pictures of your boards with your QUESTION so that we can see what you see.
