My key fob has stopped working on my fiesta. I can use the key to manually lock and unlock the doors. can’t change battery as it’s a sealed unit Update (09/02/2021)

Hi @joys2121 , Here’s a video that shows how to open your key fob to replace the battery. The battery model used is a CR2032. It is a common battery available most everywhere e.g. supermarkets. Note: Ensure that you insert the new battery the same way as the original. There is a +ve symbol marked on the battery so that you know which way it goes into the battery holder.
Hi @joyspurrier, can you attach a photo of the key fob? (Click here for directions on how to add photos to your post.) Even with the “sealed” devices you can usually get into them with a spudger (or a guitar pick, credit card, or flat head screwdriver). Once you’re in, you should be able to swap out the battery. This guide has a quick video example of using the key to open their fob. Hope this helps!
