My mac was stolen and I just need to know if this is possible. Can someone clear the serial number from my machine or change it to a different one???
No, it’s not possible to change the systems serial number. Hopefully you enabled Find My Mac from within your iCloud account. If you have you have a way to track your system down. Don’t take matters in your own hands here! Inform the local Police what you find. Using your iPhone/iPad or another Mac log into your iCloud account so you can locate your system. While it won’t tell you exactly what floor the system is on within a building it can get you quite close.
