MacBook Pro does not turn on. Resetting SMC for T2 chip does not help. Holding the power button normally does not help. What other actions can be taken to save the systems SSD content?
Ouch! There is no way you can salvage your storage your self. The newer models that use a T2 chip by default can’t allow you access to the data. If you had altered the security settings you could have had a chance! This is one of the risks you face if you haven’t been good in backing up to an external drive. Lets say you had altered the security settings About Secure Boot from the default then Apple could leverage their special tool to recover your data. I’ll worn you! Not all Apple Stores have access to this tool and many support staff don’t even know its even possible! So maybe the best answer here is to try to figure out what’s happened to your system and try to fix it if possible. First thing is to see if the system is even getting power. You’ll need a in-line USB-C power meter like this one Satechi USB-C Power Meter as unlike the older MagSafe models there is no physical LED to even tell whats happening if your system is charged or even if the power brick is working.
