hi Everybody, I own a MacBook Pro 2015. Obviously the warranty is history and my Mac decided not to turn on again. The MagSafe works and the battery charges as well but it just won’t boot up. I’ve unscrewed the bottomcase and there are no signs of water damage which practically is impossible since I have a waterproof bag and it hasn’t been near any water ever in his life. There was some dust in my bag though that was also on the click case but it was little. What can I try to get some life out of this MacBook again? The keyboard works since an SMC reset gives me the green led when I do this reset. Any help will be appreciated!!
Go for a spontaneous reboot. Disconnect the battery from the logic board. Disconnect the power adapter. Press and hold the power on button for ten seconds. Hook the battery back up and the power adapter and if the logic board is good , you should get a spontaneous reboot. UPDATE If all else fails, Apple has a Depot repair Flat Rate program if there is no impact damage or liquid damage. With shipping and tax it runs $357 US currency. To get it call 1-800-MYAPPLE and request it.
