Macbook Pro mid-2012 still under warranty with El Capitan I think this might be a common problem with recent Macbook Pros. Playing music or audio from a video, the sound cuts out, silence, cuts in … cuts out again… It seems like the buffer size is too small in the devices, but it doesnt happen with my wife’s little Macbook Air, so it seems to be the Bluetooth manager in my MBP. I did find this in Apple Discussions: defaults write com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent “Apple Bitpool Min (editable)” 40 But it did not seem to affect anything. Ideas?

Gee, I have no problems … I have a UE2 running with El Capitan off of either iTunes locally or YouTube Are you sure it’s the Bluetooth and not the app or the network connection to the audio/video source? What is the app you are using and are you using the latest version? How are you connecting to the music/video is it on your system, over a WiFi connection to a local system (server) or off of the internet as a stream? Update (11/03/2016) Try this: Create a bootable external drive (USB thumb drive). Using it as your boot drive see if iTunes works that way cleanly. That way you’re removing all of the stuff from loading without altering your drive for now.
