when i try to send an email the message just goes up and it doesnt send.
Definetily a configuration problem. Raises more questions than answers. Which mail prog are you using? Can you receive mails? What mail provider are you on? Look for SMTP or IMAP config in the respective dialogs and that everything is right. Consult your mail provider to see what settings are neccasary. It’s usually something like smtp.mailprovider.something or along that line.
