I am having the same problem. Tried cleaning the pads, did not work. Bought a replacement part and it worked….for 4 loads and then the same problem on the replacement panel! Very strange. Very frustrated, now I am out $250 for the replacement panel too. Are there any other ideas on what this issue is and other possible solutions? Update (10/27/2021) Hi Jeff, thanks for the reply. Model MVWB835DW3. The main power board is getting power (green light on) and there is 5V at the control panel connector. I find it odd that two control panels would have the same defect so maybe something on the main board is triggering it.
Hi @David Morgan Did you check the cable between the main board and the control panel for continuity i.e. fractured wiring perhaps, and also check for corrosion etc on the cable connections? Here’s the tech sheet for the washer that may help. On p.11 it gives the checks to be made for a won’t power up problem. Hopefully they may help you to find out what it is.
