i have a macbookpro 2.16 ,with ATI radeon x1600 graphics. the problem is when it gets little bit hot ,if for some reason i want to restart the MBP,it will not boot anymore and the screen remains completely black ,until it gets cool and then it will reboot again.I was wondering if this is a video card issue ,and if the answer is yes how to replace the video card.

Actually that’s a safety feature to prevent damage. What we need to look for is the cause of the overheating. First I would open the top case and blow out the fans and vents with canned air. Here’s how to open it up: MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Model A1211 Right Fan Replacement I would also check the positions of the thermal sensors.
