Solved My Mic Is Muffled And Barley Working Apple Earphones With Remote And Mic

My EarPods mic is not working so well it works but the mic is extremely muffled and you cant hear anything when i talk into it. How can i fix this simply?

Only way I suppose is to try and clean the little hole of the mic may be theres dirt and dust blocking it? If cleaning dosent work it’s time for a new set
