Ive been trying to get my old Casio Privia PX-575R which i’ve had for 8 years to connect to my computer Via midi so i can record midi files and i’ve never used the midi, but the physical midi port on my keyboard wont connect. Idk how to replace the midi port so what do i have to do to get it fixed

Hi, You do not state the OS of the computer that you wish to connect to but have you got the Casio USB -Midi drivers installed in the computer at all? This allows the PC to recognize and correctly connect to the keyboard when connected via a USB cable Here is a link to the download page for the Windows 7, 8 & 8.1 USB midi drivers (see read me text file after unzipping on how to install the drivers) http://support.casio.com/en/support/down… Here is a link to the User Guide.
