whenever I try and run anything demanding ie: 2 tabs of youtube, counter strike, etc My pc crashes. but the sound still works fine, I can hear everything that was playing before it turned off, but inputs and display stop running
What I’ve tried: Re-installing windows Trying different 8 pin connectors to power my GPU using an i7 4770k to see if my CPU was the problem using a different monitor Specs: i74790k gtx 970 Cooler master g750m power supply gigabyte z970x-soc force mobo 2 random hard drives Any help is appreciated :)
I would first completely uninstalling the graphics driver using Display Driver Uninstaller in Safe Mode: https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details… following their instructions. Then reinstalling the GTX 970 drivers. If this fixes the problem then you are good, if not then I would: Resocket the memory cards.Test the system RAM using Memtest86 Free https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details...If problems found then try one module at a time and see if problem goes away.
