Help me please!!!! About 1 month ago I had my iPhone6S repaired ( new screen and battery) because of the same reason. Last night my phone died, and wont turn back on? I’ve tried everything, plugging into laptop, home and lock button… I hope it isn’t another problem with the phone considering I’ve payed over 100 on it. However, its still under warranty.
Hi @emilyjjj, If you are not concerned about your data and your iPhone does not bare traces of physical damage such as bents in the frame or cracks in the screen, then go ahead and claim warranty from Apple or an AASP (authorized service provider). If it is a simple issue such as battery failure, they may replace the failing component (such as the battery). If the board itself failed, they may replace the whole unit. On the other hand, if data is needed, you may want to show it to a TRIED & TRUSTED repair store or technician in order to trouble shoot it and possible perform data recovery. Apple and AASPs do not offer data retention. Actually the first thing they try is a restore and complete wipe of your iPhone content. Be careful who you choose if data is important.
