my says i should insert sim when the sim is inside already. help please
frank, start by removing the screen assembly, iPhone 3G Display Assembly Replacement, clean the sim card reader with a high grade isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush, something like a toothbrush will work. Once it is cleaned, check for bent contacts. sometimes just bending the contacts slightly up can correct this error.
