My iPhone 6 isn’t turning on. I recently performed a battery change. It worked perfectly alright for a month, no over heating, the battery health was visible. The phone’s memory is almost full, with only a couple of hundred Mb left. I forgot to charge the phone and it shutdown, when I tried to turn it on after plugging in it doesn’t turn on. The apple logo flashes and the screen goes black with the backlight still turned on. I connected the phone to iTunes and it recognized my device. It suggested to update the phone but then shows “Error 78”. Please help, I can’t risk losing the data. Thank You.

ITunes error 78 is usually software corruption. You could try with a new cable and different PC or mac and even try the 3uTools program to perform an update but 99 percent of the time it will need to be restored so there is little chance of retrieving your data.

It’s possible that the full storage is causing it to boot loop or not turn on properly, have you tried putting it in recovery mode and updating it with iTunes?
