I charged my iPhone 6 Plus a half night with a newly bought Power Bank . Next day it reduces drastically at work, I plug into my Hgv truck’s cigarette lighter hole and after a while Apple Logo seizes the phone . No restarts no dfu no restart nor reset will get me out of here till whole battery died. Just yesterday I replaced the battery bought from iFixit, it kicked on straight to same Apple logo stuck thing . I took the whole night trying all suggested methods to get it picked by iTunes but no luck. Borrowed a new laptop to see if I could go pass this but meanwhile battery is flat dead and won’t even show me the connect to iTunes thing it was showing the night earlier. I never found nor broke anything in the phone as I changed the battery. Everything in order in there. What is the next step? I intend returning the battery to IFixit for a change, can I? Is there a way to force it to pick iTunes or Recboot or Reiboot which I did nt do well? Along the line I found out that ‘Apple Mobil Device Support ’ was never showing on my pc’s Dev manager. I followed links shown to install usbaappl64 Inf but only to waste hrs in trying to solve the annoying pop up msg: THE INF YOU ARE INSTALLING IS NOT …. That’s it. No success after 18 hrs. Pls help. Thanx.
Yes, this is a classic presentation of death by car charger –Tristar disease. You have damaged a chip inside your phone on the motherboard. Find a local expert that does microsoldering iPhone motherboard repair, or use a mail in repair service. In the future always use Certified MFI cables with the “made for iPhone logo” or Apple genuine chargers from the Apple Store to avoid burning the Tristar chip when charging. It’s an epidemic.
It sounds like the charger damaged the charging circuit (Tristar) on your logic board. Whenever, you use non Apple-Original chargers, or non MFi certified ones, you always run the risk of damaging your logic board. Car chargers are the worst offenders. This will require a micro-soldering repair and is not a DIY fix.
