I was walking home from school for maybe 10 minutes yesterday and I had my phone in a pocket in my bag. It was raining heavily and I got soaked. When I turned my phone on it had lines on it. I took it out of its case to try and dry it in front of my heater. It has some cracks on it as it is second hand and I think water has gotten in through there. I am a kid with barely any money so is there a way I can fix this without having to spend 100s of dollars.

hello Alex, Your screen has been damaged internally. It is possible that it is the result of flooding or rupture after a fall. Sometimes, when someone tries to open a phone, they break it and lead to something like that. It is also possible that the video connector in its port is not making full contact. In this case, you need to remove the culprit and clean the inner space of the port. It often helps in similar cases. But don’t be talked into a $ 94 screen - all over the world, such a screen costs no more than $ 45

Hey Alex! There is simply no way to fix these green lines… You probably have to go ahead and replace the entire display….

It is very likely that the screen stub contact is damaged, most likely you just need to disassemble the phone and check the connection of the stub to the board.
