My phone was carted then I dropped it on a hard floor and it had a black screen with blue green and red lines on it and I let it sit and when I came to check on it after an hour the screen was completely black so I put on the charger and it vibrated so i knew it was on but I waited so I knew for sure but sometime after that my phone was ringing but my phone screen was black
You should always rule out parts first. So the first thing to replace in your case would be the screen.
