My phone turns on and displays Apple for a minute then powers off. Do I need a new battery?

However, you don’t say much about what happened to the phone in the days leading up to this issue. If the battery life was really short, then it supports the battery theory. However, if you’re phone was dropped, damaged or repaired then it could be almost anything. So start by the battery and if that doesn’t work, then report back.
