My phone was saying searching all the time even though I don’t have the Sim card Inside so I tried everything which is setting the time and date correctly but it didn’t help so I tried to restore the iPhone but it’s stuck on 99% I tried with a third-party restart of test but it didn’t work either thanks
If restore failed with a “searching” status it’s quite likely the iPhone has a hardware issue, probably on the cellular side. Considering the current value of the iPhone 5 the cost of a repair wouldn’t be sustainable, I’m afraid you better consider a phone replacement.
