I have an IPhone 5 I perfect condition which has never been damaged in any way! It worked perfect until it would only charge to about 18%! So I had a new battery replacement and the phone worked perfect until I went to charge it and now it will not respond to about 10-12 different chargers. So I had the charging connector changed but still no change! It’s a crying shame because the phone is nearly new! What else could it Be and why all of a sudden it hour warning? Can you help! Thanks!!

Hi William, If replacing your charging dock doesn’t solve the issue, then there is no easy fix for your issue. It will mean your phone’s U2 chip needs to be replaced. It is a small chip on the logic board part responsible for the charging process. It notoriously and frequently fails on the iPhone 5. Some very skilled individuals can replace it, but it’s expensive to do. I suggest that you contact jessabethany (look her up on this website) and see if she can help you fix it. Note 1: using fake or cheap cables but specially chargers can cause or help cause this issue. Note 2: you can examine the logic board of your phone next to the battery connector and the charging dock connector, for anything missing/broken/damaged/part removed, just in case you caused some damage during the battery replacement. If you find nothing, then my money is on the U2 as per the description here above.
