Chosen Solution
Someone tripped over the power cord while my ipad air 2 was charging. The cord was pulled hard out of the machine. Now I can’t get the old cord to fit in the slot where it goes. We tried a new cord, too, and it just won’t go in to charge the machine.
They probably messed up the charging port. So you would probably have to replace the charge port like the one found here: https://www.amazon.com/MMOBIEL-Connector…
